A Very Happy Pinoy Fitness Peeps Get Together @ Marina MOA

December 11, 2011 -  Just after the National Finals of the 35th Milo Marathon, the Pinoy Fitness peeps gathered as planned by the organizers Ms_Mars and company at the Marina Resto in the Mall of Asia for the Yuletide Party or we can also call it Get Together :-)

Roxanne, Goldy, Joyce and the PF Peeps @ Marina
We had our breakfast buffet at Php149.00 and while enjoying the food, everyone took turns in taking pictures and the usual get to know each other or chit chats to those already old acquaintances.

The event also served as the submission time of the registration forms for the upcoming PSE Bull Run on January 8, 2011 which Pinoy Fitness will be competing as a team or a team of two- PF Mamaws and PF Baby Mamaws :-)

But the main event of the get together was the raffle time, several items were raffled off such as PF tech shirts, singlets from previous run events, vitamins, running gadgets, GC's, and two FREE race kits to the Condura Skyway Marathon 2012 courtesy of Team Alpha! Wow!!

And the lucky grand winners.... (drum beats!)
Congrats to JC and Ma'am Jackie for bagging the FREE racekit for any category at the Condura Skyway Marathon 2012! Lucky PF peeps indeed!

The get together was also attended by our runner friends from OK OK Runners, ARC runners, Team Alpha and more whom I still need to know personally.

QCIM3 on December 04, 2011 - My Race Kit

Yesterday, my wife and I dropped by at Mizuno Bonifacio High Street to register for the Quezon City International Marathon year 3, which will be happening on Sunday, December 04, 2011.

As a PinoyFitness.com community member, I was entitled with Php175.00 discount. Thanks to Mr. PF! I registered for the full marathon event, it will be my first 42K run after several half marathons this year.

Last QCIM2, I ran my first 10K and this year I will be running my first 42K.I do hope for a safe and great run as we will be going to La Mesa Eco Park. Will also be my first time to that place :-)

My First Ultra Half Marathon LSD on October 30, 2011

I was planning to have my solo ultra half marathon LSD this weekend when I learned through Facebook the organized 32K LSD of OK OK Runners. With that, I woke up very early this morning to catch up the onsite registration at Kilometer Zero.

And I was one of the early birds, the other participants who have registered online arrived past 4 AM. The orientation and warm-up took place after 4:30 AM,  and the two groups of runners with pacing 7-8mins/km and 9-10mins/km took off the road before 5AM.

Let the pictures took you to my first ultra half marathon LSD...

My big big thanks again to OK OK Runners and to ChiCem Runners! Great time running with you all especially to my pacermates Icar, Abetski, and Sir Ram!

Would love to share more pics, but storage is limited here. To view more pics, please click HERE.

See you on the road again guys!

PS. Photo credits to everyone who took all the posted pictures above ( I cannot name you all). This is my first ever run without taking my digicam. :-)

35th National Milo Marathon Manila Leg - Race Day Pics

It's almost 2 days after the 35th National Milo Marathon Manila leg which was held last Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the Mall of Asia grounds. This is the time that my leg, foot and body pains appear but all was part of the challenge and fun of being a runner.

This 35th National Milo Marathon Manila leg was a rainy one, and it was my first rainy 21K run. It was great to run in the rain, no worries for heat stroke, just still rehydrate to replenish the body fluids. The negative side is the wet shoes and wet socks which eventually will give you blisters.

As the official results at the Bazu Sports indicated, I finished at 2:17 hours which is around my regular 21K time but I got confused with the timers at the finish line which indicated a different time when I crossed the line. But anyway, its the experience that counts not the time :-)

And I am happy to meet new peeps in the running community like Miss Gracie, Miss Pam and Doc Minnie among others. Thanks and nice meeting you guys!
